[진주청동기문화박물관 - 상설전시관]

2009년 개관한 진주청동기문화박물관은 진주 대평리를 중심으로 한 청동기시대 유적을 보존·연구·전시하는 전문 박물관이다. 남강 유역에 형성된 대평리는 선사시대 농경과 정착 생활이 발달한 지역으로, 진주 역사의 기원을 보여주는 중요한 공간이다. 박물관은 발굴 성과를 바탕으로 청동기인의 생활 방식과 사회 구조, 당시의 자연환경을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 구성되었다. 그뿐만 아니라 지역의 선사 문화를 체계적으로 소개하며, 진주의 역사 정체성을 알리고, 지역민과 관람객이 선사시대와 현재를 잇는 역사적 흐름을 경험할 수 있도록 돕고 있다.

[Jinju Bronze Age Museum – Permanent Exhibition Hall]

Opened in 2009, the Jinju Bronze Age Museum is a specialized institution dedicated to the preservation, research, and exhibition of Bronze Age sites centered on Daepyeong-ri in Jinju. Located along the Namgang River, Daepyeong-ri is a significant area where prehistoric agriculture and settled life flourished, offering important insight into the origins of Jinju’s history. Based on archaeological excavation findings, the museum is designed to help visitors easily understand the daily life, social structure, and natural environment of Bronze Age communities. Beyond presenting excavation results, it systematically introduces the region’s prehistoric culture, communicates Jinju’s historical identity, and enables both local residents and visitors to experience the continuity between prehistoric times and the present.
