[창녕박물관 - 기획전 / 송현전]

2023년 유네스코 세계유산으로 등재된 창녕 교동과 송현동 고분군을 중심으로, 비화가야 문명의 역사와 가치를 새롭게 조명하고자 마련된 기획전시다. 비화가야의 정치적 성장과 소멸 과정을 고분군 유적과 출토 유물을 통해 살펴보며, 가야 문명이 지닌 독자성과 세계문화유산적 의미를 전달한다. 특히 송현동 15호분에서 출토된 순장 소녀 ‘송현’의 이야기를 통해 비화가야 지배 질서와 사후세계관을 인간의 삶과 죽음의 관점에서 풀어내었다.

[Changnyeong Museum - Special Exhibition / Songhyeon]

This special exhibition was organized to offer a renewed perspective on the history and significance of the Bihwa Gaya civilization, centered on the Gyo-dong and Songhyeon-dong Tumuli of Changnyeong, which were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023. Through the burial sites and excavated artifacts, the exhibition examines the political rise and decline of Bihwa Gaya, conveying the civilization’s distinct identity and its value as a World Heritage site. In particular, the exhibition presents the story of “Songhyeon,” a sacrificial girl excavated from Songhyeon-dong Tomb No. 15, interpreting Bihwa Gaya’s ruling order and views of the afterlife from the human perspective of life and death.
