[안산산업역사박물관 - 기획전/인사이드카]

안산산업역사박물관 기획전시는 대한민국 자동차 산업의 태동과 성장 과정을 안산 산업단지의 역사와 함께 조명하는 전시이다. 전시장에는 실물 자동차와 함께 차량 시트 조립 과정을 살펴볼 수 있는 실제 조립 기계를 배치해, 자동차 생산 현장을 직관적으로 이해하도록 구성했다. 한쪽 벽면에는 다양한 자동차 부품과 이를 만든 사람들의 이야기를 통해, 산업 발전의 주체가 ‘사람’이었음을 강조했다.

수입 자동차 도입부터 부품 국산화, 최초의 국산 자동차 제작까지의 과정으로 신진자동차 사례가 소개되었는데, 옛 TV 화면을 활용한 공장 영상과 실물 차량 전시는 당시 산업 현장의 분위기와 시대성을 생생하게 전달하였다. 마지막 영상실에서는 미디어아트와 실물 연출을 결합해 자동차 산업의 발전사를 입체적으로 경험하도록 했다.

[Ansan Industrial History Museum - Special Exhibition / Inside Car]

The special exhibition at the Ansan Industrial History Museum explores the origins and growth of South Korea’s automobile industry in connection with the history of the Ansan Industrial Complex. The exhibition space features real automobiles alongside actual assembly machines that demonstrate the vehicle seat assembly process, allowing visitors to intuitively understand the automobile production site. One section of the gallery highlights that the driving force behind industrial development was “people,” through displays of various automobile parts and stories of the individuals who made them.

The exhibition introduces the case of Shinjin Motors, tracing the process from the introduction of imported automobiles to the localization of parts and the production of the first domestically manufactured cars. Factory footage shown on vintage television screens, together with real vehicles on display, vividly conveys the atmosphere and character of the industrial sites of the time. In the final screening room, media art combined with physical installations allows visitors to experience the history of the automobile industry in a three-dimensional way.
